I Have seen the new Indiana Jones movie yesterday. He is not bad, but the ending is like "not really indiana jones"... I was a little bit disapointed in the special effects also, somethimes it was very obviously that the movie was filmed on bleuscreen... I think Steven Spielberg could do better... Much Better... Good movie to see at home, but not to spend money on at the Theatre..

I went to see Ironman last week, I enjoyed it thouroughly. It was indeed nice to see a good movie from such a bad (to my liking at least) actor. The film was great and I can't wait to see the sequel. The previews for the upcoming Hulk and Dark knights looked good as well.

Before that one, I went to see the SpiderWick Chronicles with my daughter a month and a half ago. It was pretty descent for a kids movie. I had fun talking about it with her after and I think that's what surpass the movie itself.

Havent been to a theater in ages. Last movie I did go to, was the 3rd installment Peter Jacksons of LoTR. Else, I watch them on the flatscreen and the surround sound not more than 20' from a cold bevereage. NETFLIX R-O-C-K-S! Smile

Wanted - Enjoyed it even with the flashbacks to the Matrix and standard story line in places. Liked the idea of the Weavers/Assassins would like to see a movie or read a story based on the beginnings of them.

Hancock - funny, love Will Smith, but some plot jumps that kind of bothered me. Too many film classes. Smile

Dark Knight...last Sunday actually. EXCELLENT flick and finally a very well done Batman movie.

Ledger (whom I previusly thought was so-so as an actor) absolutely n-a-i-l-e-d his role as The Joker. Posthumous Oscar quality performance.

On Tuesday:

Dark Knight
Mama Mia
Hellboy 2

Loved them all.

I agree, Jharryl, Dark Knight is the best Batman film. I enjoyed that it was based in reality vs the fantasy.

The Dark Knight rules! Am sure that every Batman fan will be pleased with the way it stays faithful to the character's original story themes of "the darkness for the light", struggling with your personal demons, detective twists, cool realistic and gadgets, twisted but plausible enemies, and the mortality and frailities of the human condition".

Am sure that non-Batman fans will also like it for the action-suspense-horror-sci-fi elements it has neatly mixed up into a 2 hour and 32 minute fun ride! Smile

Mamma Mia did not disappoint. Having seen the stage play in Las Vegas, I was pleased to see how they transitioned it to the big screen. Merryl Streep was great. Pierce Brosnan had a horrible singing voice but it was so funny in the seemingly serious context that they wanted it to fill into.

Looking forward to seeing Hellboy2! Smile
