This is just an idea for a simple raffle that could be run periodically in periods when we are looking for FSP donations extra urgently.

In essence, for the specified duration of the raffle anyone making a donation of FSPs to a guild founder gets one ticket for each point donated.

At the end of raffle period (perhaps a week) the founder or sage running the draw would put the names of all the donaters and into a hat - one chance to win per ticket - and draw out the winner.

I would suggest the prize pool be a proportion of the donations - perhaps 25% - rather than fixed. I would also suggest the raffles simply be 'announced' so that people do not hoard up their FSPs for weeks in advance and continue to make their usual donations.

I think, too, that guild founders and sages or any other guildmate involved in running the draw cannot win for obvious reasons of fairness and transparency.

Not a bad idea! It's simple and has an easy pay-out.

What are some thoughts for prizes? The obvious is a certain amount of FSP's, but I was thinking we could give out a quality piece of equipment that might be hard to acquire or is somewhat pricey due to being popular, etc. depending on the winner's level.

I'm pretty sure such raffles are now not allowed under FS rules

I think doing raffles and such like on FSBox is frowned upon. I can't see anything wrong with doing it 'in house'. Its not a scam and is merely a fun incentive to encourage donations
