I'm very interested in D3 and StarCraft 3 coming out. My buddies and I cut our teeth on SC, and then moved to D2 after we were burned out on SC and the SC Expansion.

My guess is it will be a year or so before it is released, that is the typical MO for game companies. To announce a game about a year before the release. It is going to be a long year. But yeah, D2 and SC were the major games my buddies played. I must correct you and say that it is SC2 coming out not SC3.
I can't wait to see the new classes that blizzard is creating, the new one that they have released so far is the Witch Doctor. Looks great, kinda like a mix between the necromancer and the druid.

I still have my account on D2 and I can't wait for D3 to come out. I dunno if any of you knew any clans that were in D2 but I was the Leader of EMO and ELC for a long time ELC was a branch off from EMO and starcraft clan 001 was also a branch off EMO

I loved Diablo, wasn't a huge fan of Diablo 2. I found that the game wasn't as dark and menacing, certain monsters were changed which shouldn't have...like in Hell the Blood Knights looked cool in Diablo but kind of wimpy looking in Diablo 2. The quests were probably about the same, but for some reason Diablo one brought me into the game and made me care about it. Like when you fight the Butcher, or the Skeleton King, or that little Imp guy, the mad wizard...etc etc.

The biggest things to me against Diablo 2, one you have monster A and monster B. Monster B can res monster A....repeat process. Act 3, enough said.

Diablo 3 looks good and has some potential. I do have to somewhat agree on the graphics debat...evn though i can honstely say it looks good now. I don't see how Diablo 2 was all that "dark" compared to Diablo. I remember being in the first 5 levels of that game and not being able to see zombies in the corner or walls.

I don't think the "darkness" made the game. I feel i was driven to see what i could do to build my character in the way i wanted, a little like FKQ. I had more fun playing with my friends online than actually doing the quests or worrying about how i was actually progressing in the game.

I just got warhammer online to keep me going until D3. Just stopped playing Eve Online after 3 years.
